Lots of people start going to the gym more often after a breakup to get their “revenge” body and show their ex what they’re missing out on. I think I just do it because it gives me gives me a place to put all that negative energy that builds up all day long. It’s like, I can lay in my bed and be sad or I can blast some music through my headphones and work through this with some heavy weights.
